Culture Fit Assessment, Individual Edition

Nearly half of new hires fail within 18 months. The resume was never the problem.

Before you take the offer, send one more application, or decide you have to stay, find out where you actually fit.

About one hour of your time. Report and review call in two weeks.

Sample report

Operations leader, 12 years of experience

Current role66%
Offer A81%
Offer B47%

Offer B paid the most. It scored lowest on mission alignment, and its pace asked for more composure than his profile supports right now.

I learned this one the hard way

I once left a job where I fit, where the work, the people, and the mission lined up, for a job that paid more. I knew the first week that I had traded the wrong thing. The title was bigger and the check was bigger, and I spent that season proving I could do work that was never going to feed me.

I had every credential the role asked for. What I didn't have was a way to measure fit before I said yes. Companies now hire me to do exactly that for their candidates. The individual edition turns the same method around so it works for you.

Skills get you the interview. Fit decides whether you're still there, and still well, in two years.

The offer looks good on paper

Title, salary, and a recruiter who says all the right things. Six months in, the culture asks something of you that you were never going to give.

Every application feels like a coin flip

You're applying to anything that matches your skills, with no way to tell which of those places you'd actually thrive in.

You're tired and not sure why

Good company, decent boss, work you can do in your sleep. And you dread Monday. Something doesn't line up, and you can't name it.

Leaving is off the table

A mortgage, a pension that vests in three years, kids in school. You're staying. The question is how to be well where you are, and that question has an answer.

The same assessment employers use to predict fit, working for you instead.

Most career tools ask what you want and hand back job titles. This one measures who you are, measures what each role and company actually demands, and scores the match, including the job you have now.

1

Mission statement

You write a short personal mission statement with my guide. About 20 minutes. This step alone changes how you read a job posting.

2

Two assessments

The PR6 resilience assessment and a Big 5 personality profile in the Driven app. About 35 minutes, and you keep app access for 30 days.

3

Report and review call

A written comparison of up to three roles, offers, or companies, then 45 minutes with me to decide what to do with it.

What goes into the score

Every option is scored on the same three pillars. Where a score is conditional, the report names the conditions, so you can negotiate them before you start or change them where you are.

Mission alignment

55%

I compare your mission to each organization's mission as it is actually lived, using turnover, leadership behavior, and culture evidence.

Resilience profile

25%

The PR6 measures six domains, including composure, tenacity, and collaboration. I match your profile against how demanding each environment is.

Personality fit

20%

A Big 5 profile shows how you work, relate, and handle change. I score each role's structure and pace against it.

Offer A81%Strong fit
Offer B47%Reconsider

Offer B paid the most. Its mission alignment score was the lowest of the three, and its pace would have asked for a composure level his profile doesn't support yet.

Three ways people use it

Narrow a search. Score three target companies before you apply, so your time goes where you'll thrive.

Weigh an offer. Score the offer against the job you have. Decide with data instead of a salary number and a gut feeling.

Stay well. Score the role you're in now and leave with a plan for it.

If you're staying, your challenge is different

Job seekers get to choose. Job stayers have to adjust, and most career advice is written for the first group. When leaving is off the table, a vague sense that something is wrong is the hardest place to be, because you can't fix what you can't name.

Scoring your current role pulls the problem apart. The company can be a strong fit while the shape of the role drains you, or the role can be right while one resilience domain runs on empty. Each has a different fix: a conversation with your boss about the shape of the job, habits you build during your 30 days in the Driven app, or expectations you set down.

On the review call we turn the report into three moves you can start this month and a picture of what good looks like in 90 days.

What taking a job that doesn't fit, then leaving inside a year, actually costs you

Estimates based on published surveys and typical professional compensation. Yours will differ.

72%

Shift shock

Share of job seekers who found a new role or company was different from what they were led to believe (The Muse, 2,500 respondents).

$5K to $40K

Money left behind

Unvested bonus, retirement match, equity, and PTO you walked away from, plus a signing bonus you may have to repay.

$10K to $35K

The gap

One to three months between roles at a professional salary, plus the energy cost of a second search in a year.

48%

Would go back

Nearly half of people who felt shift shock said they would try to get their old job back (The Muse).

Estimated cost of one wrong move

Direct costs only. The short tenure on your resume, the lost momentum, and the toll on your health are extra.

$15K to $75K

A director asked me to score the job he already had. The company came back a strong fit. The role, as it was shaped, scored in the conditional range, and the report named exactly where it was wearing him down. He stayed, reshaped the job with his boss, and kept eight years of equity he was about to walk away from.

Questions people ask me

What is an individual culture fit assessment?

An individual culture fit assessment scores how well you're likely to thrive in a specific role or company. The Individual Edition compares your personal mission, PR6 resilience profile, and Big 5 personality against up to three roles, offers, or companies, including the job you have now.

How much does the Individual Edition cost, and how long does it take?

$750 per person for up to three options. It takes about one hour of your time, and the report and 45-minute review call arrive in about two weeks. If you're holding an offer with a deadline, the schedule can be compressed.

What if my dream job scores low?

Then you know what it will ask of you, and you can decide with eyes open. People take the lower-scoring job anyway and do well because they negotiated the conditions first.

I can't change jobs right now. Is this still useful?

Yes, and for you it may matter most. Scoring your current role tells you whether the fatigue comes from the company, the shape of the role, or a resilience domain running low. Each has a different fix, and you leave the review call with a 90-day plan for being well in the job you have.

Will my employer find out?

No. Nothing is shared with any employer, recruiter, or company, and nothing is used for marketing without your written permission.

How is this different from a career coach or a personality test?

A personality test tells you about you. A coach helps you think. This scores you against specific roles and companies with a weighted method employers already pay for, and then you work through what it means with Dr. Brown.

One hour of your time. Two weeks. $750.

Against a decision that shapes your next three to five years. I took the job for the money once. I would have paid far more than this to know what I was walking into.
